Message from ICOMS 2019 Chairman

As Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee of ICOMS 2019, it is my great pleasure to cordially invite you to Rio de Janeiro and to the 24th International Conference on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, to be held at the Windsor Barra Convention Center, 21– 24 May, 2019. It is an honor and a privilege for the Brazilian College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to host the largest international event of our specialty with the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

The Local Organizing Committee has prepared an innovative and stimulating 4-day scientific forum showcasing the latest developments encompassing all fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery in a welcoming social atmosphere, where science and friendship will converge to create strong bonds among colleagues from all over the world. Your participation in ICOMS is essential and we also kindly invite you to submit abstracts for presentation at the free oral paper and poster sessions.

Rio de Janeiro offers great tourism and leisure opportunities, with the striking contrast of a city blessed with a tropical forest and a wonderful bay and beaches.

Message from IAOMS President

On behalf of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS) and the Local Organizing Committee, I am delighted to invite you to the 24th International Conference on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ICOMS) being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil May 21 - 24, 2019.

The IAOMS is pleased to partner with Colegio Brasileiro de Cirugia e Traumatologia Buco-Maxilo-Facial on this signature IAOMS educational and networking event. The Windsor Barra Convention Center will be the main venue and social events will be held near the Convention Center.

Whether you are a surgeon, trainee, allied health professional or otherwise related to the OMF field, ICOMS promises to provide you with the latest in best practices, research and other developments to help you build your practice, our profession and deliver excellence in patient care.
